On Sunday, March 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM, the short documentary noir film “Palagonia,” directed by Andrea Lorenzini and produced by Danilo Lo Iacono with cinematography by Johnny Carran, will premiere at Villa Palagonia.
The film is set entirely within the mysterious and captivating setting of Villa Palagonia. The protagonist, Antonello Gargano, enters the villa at night to uncover some of its hidden secrets, accompanied by a special guest, Rosanna Balistreri, who will guide us on this journey into the past and the beliefs of times gone by.
The film screening will be attended by the project’s creators, in addition to the film’s two protagonists. The film, conceived by Andrea Lorenzini and Danilo Lo Iacono, is sponsored by the Municipality of Bagheria and is one of the projects submitted for funding from “Participatory Democracy.”
