Tourist Information Centres
The new management of the Tourist Information Centres (CIT) in the municipal area of Bagheria and the seaside village of Aspra has begun, the result of collaboration with the two local tourist associations, “Genius Loci” and “Pro Loco di Aspra”. This initiative, aimed at improving the welcome and promotion of the area for both citizens and visitors, now sees the CITs fully operational with the announcement of opening hours and services offered.
CIT in Bagheria

Monday to Saturday
– Morning: 10:00 to 13:00
– Afternoon: 16:30 to 19:30

– Information in Italian, English, French and Spanish;

– advice on itineraries and experiences to enjoy in Bagheria;
– sustainable mobility and electric shuttle service;

CIT in Aspra
Location:
Seafront: located in the square named ‘To the children of Aspra who disappeared on 09/05/1968 – In memory of Domenico Astorino, Domenico D’alcamo and Giuseppe La Licata’

The ProLoco of Aspra also manages the
‘public baths of Aspra’,
which are open every day from 6.30 pm to midnight.

At the Tourist Information Centres, you can obtain detailed and up-to-date information on a wide range of topics, including historical and cultural itineraries, such as the 18th-century villas of Bagheria, including Villa Palagonia and Villa Cattolica, home to the Guttuso Museum, the Certosa with its toy museum, Villa Butera, Villa Sant’Isidoro De Cordova, and the characteristic anchovy museum in Aspra, as well as naturalistic itineraries such as the Arco Azzurro and much more to see and experience in Bagheria, such as scheduled events and exhibitions, without forgetting the palate with information on catering services, hospitality and accommodation facilities.
There will also be brochures with information about the Tourist Shuttle, a service designed to facilitate travel and allow visitors to reach the city’s main points of interest, including the seaside village of Aspra.
