On Saturday, March 7, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM, a unique theatrical nighttime tour of the rooms of Villa Butera will take place. The event, “O Court to God – The Shadow of the Brancifortes” is organized by the social promotion association “Liberi Tutti APS,” in collaboration with the Municipality of Bagheria.
The event breaks away from the traditional guided tour format to offer an immersive, sensory experience. Visitors will be transported directly to 17th-century Sicily, becoming eyewitnesses to the origins of Bagheria.
Accompanied by a guide and actors, guests will encounter the key figures of the court: from the disdain of Prince Giuseppe Branciforte to the proud dignity of his wife Caterina. The tour will wind through the corridors of the “mother of all villas,” reaching heights of inspiration in the Fumagalli-Martorana Hall, with its alchemical enigmas, and an encounter with the “Venus of Sicily.” A nocturnal journey where every fresco and every shadow reveals the secrets of one of the most influential families of the island’s aristocracy, breaking down the boundaries between past and present.
