“Eternal Art”: works by artist Salvo Benanti on display at Villa Butera
Open from May 9 to 20, 2026
The exhibition “L’Arte Eterna” (Eternal Art), dedicated to the work of artist Salvo Benanti, who passed away in April 2025, will open at Villa Butera from May 9 to 20, 2026. The inaugural event will feature the participation of the Mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, who will bring institutional greetings, the Councilor for Education, Antonella Elisa Insinga, and the Councilor for Culture, Daniele Vella.
The debate and artistic exploration will be enriched by contributions from Professor Enzo Buttitta, Antonello Gargano, City Councilor with responsibility for the promotion and dissemination of the territory, and Angelo Guerrera, Director of the Culture Department.
The exhibition, conceived by artisan, painter, and artist Enzo Raspante, and curated by Aldo Caltagirone, aims to showcase Benanti’s aesthetic sensibility. Through still lifes and scenes that recall the great pictorial tradition, the artist invites the public to pause and contemplate the details, celebrating an art that, as the title suggests, does not fear the passing of time.
