The “City of Villas” is preparing to host a grand celebration dedicated to our four-legged friends once again. Building on the success of the previous edition—which saw a peaceful and joyful “takeover” of the venue—the city is returning to host a double dog show at the municipal stadium. The event is organized by the Trinacria Kennel Club (ENCI delegation of Palermo) in collaboration with the Agrigento Kennel Club (ENCI delegation of Agrigento). The event retains its winning formula, scheduling the competitions for the late afternoon and evening. It is set to begin at 7:00 PM—a strategic choice designed to ensure the dogs’ well-being by allowing them to perform in cooler conditions, away from the day’s scorching heat.
This two-day canine event will showcase numerous purebred dogs:
– July 25: 16th National Dog Show (C.A.C. Agrigento).
– July 26: 10th Trinacria National Dog Show (C.A.C.).
The event promises to attract not only industry experts and enthusiasts but also many curious locals eager to admire the beauty and training of the competing dogs. Key highlights include special exhibitions dedicated to various breeds, such as the Sicilian Mastiff, Italian Greyhound, German Shepherd, Dogo Argentino, and many others.
Held under the patronage of the Municipality of Bagheria and with Monge as the main sponsor, the event reaffirms its status as a cornerstone of the Sicilian dog-showing community.
