The “Agri-food, Craft and Trade Fair” continues successfully in Aspra, an event packed with activities for all ages.
Here is the complete calendar of events scheduled from 12 to 22 August:
– Wednesday 13 August – 8:30 p.m. – “Wooden Dreams” – A fun and creative workshop for children dedicated to building worry dolls from recycled wood.
– Friday 15 August – FERRAGOSTO – Travelling show by street artists – From 8 p.m. to midnight, jugglers, fire-eaters, stilt walkers and other performers will enliven the village.
– Saturday 16 August – 8:00 pm to 10:30 pm – Piano Stenditore – The Aspra Fair will be filled with laughter and magic, with four different shows for children of all ages! Spectacular soap bubbles, the Trampoliera, the Balloon Man and Slinky, the giant spring. Immensamente Mare – A fair dedicated to the sea and maritime culture, with exhibitions, flavours and traditions of the area.
– Sunday 17 August – 7:00 pm – Acciuga Day – An evening of food and wine with tastings of typical products, especially those related to local fishing. The evening will be enlivened by the folk group ‘Trinacria Bedda’. The programme also includes the exhibition ‘Immensamente Mare’ and guided tours of Renato Guttuso’s frescoes, organised by the Pro Loco. Event organised by GAL.
– Tuesday, 19 August – 9:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. – The Blue Stars Street Band will entertain the evening with a travelling musical show on Piano Stenditore featuring the marching band’s rousing performance.
– Wednesday, August 20 – 8:00 PM – Terrazza a Mare (Formerly Piazza Colonia). “Aspra Sunset Experience – 2nd Edition.” “The Best of Vinili” – Musical evening with DJ/Vocalist Ignazio Gagliano, organized by the Passio Christi Cultural Association.
– Friday, August 22 – 9:30 PM – Anchovy Museum – “Italy According to Paolo” – Screening of Beltrame’s short film, organized by the “Fight Disease with a Smile” association.
