The basketball tournament organised by the Baaria Basketball Cup will take place in the atrium of the “Cirincione” school. The sports event, scheduled for 10, 11 and 12 July 2025, will take place over three evenings of sport and fun, starting at 19:00 and finishing at 00:00. The tournament will offer different types of competition, designed for fans of all levels. Participants will be able to compete in 3-on-3 and individual 1-on-1 games. There will also be skill tests, with the 3-point shooting competition and the Skill Challenge, which will test players’ technique and accuracy. The Baaria Basketball Cup is open to two main categories: PRO and MINORS, guaranteeing everyone the chance to compete in the same disciplines and enjoy a full competitive experience. Prestigious prizes are provided for the winners. The event is sponsored by the municipality of Bagheria, supported by the Sports Department headed by Antonella Insinga, with the collaboration of the councillor for pathological dependencies Biagio Sciortino and the participation of the Casa dei Giovani – Comunità Terapeutica, underlining the commitment to initiatives that unite sport and social inclusion.
