Sponsored by the Municipality of Bagheria, BCsicilia and the Giuseppe Bagnera Association, a conversation on sacred images entitled “Treasures of Faith” will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 4:30 pm at the Collegio di Maria in Via Collegio, 28 in Bagheria.
Following greetings from Sister Sofia Lo Presti, Head of the Collegio di Maria community, Alfonso Lo Cascio, Regional President of BCsicilia, and Angelo Restivo, President of the Giuseppe Bagnera Association and collector, there will be presentations by Enzo Buttitta, ecclesiologist and expert in Byzantine and Eastern iconography, and Benedetto Morello, painter, engraver, and collector. The meeting will be coordinated by Maria Giammarresi, President of the BCsicilia Bagheria office. The event will then move to the Cirrincione-Mineo Historic Residence at Via Sant’Elia 5, also in Bagheria, for the inauguration of the exhibition of Angelo Restivo’s holy cards and statuettes. The exhibition will be open on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Sunday, December 7 and Monday, December 8, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
