The program, hosted by renowned journalist Edoardo Raspelli and co-host Sonia Brucoli, takes viewers on a journey to discover the excellence of the Bagheria area, including culture, craftsmanship, and breathtaking sea views. The “Green Tour” cameras stopped at the symbolic sites of Bagheria’s monumental heritage: Villa Palagonia and Villa Cattolica, home to the Guttuso Museum.
In the evocative “Villa dei Mostri,” the hosts interviewed journalist and municipal employee Martino Grasso, who guided the audience through the history and charm of the famous 18th-century villas that dot the area. At the Renato Guttuso Museum, the villa served as the backdrop for an interview with Pippo Glorioso, provincial secretary of the CNA (National Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises), focusing on the value of the area’s manufacturing and artisanal businesses. The television program then shifted to the seaside village of Aspra, where the spotlight was on one of the island’s most original museums: the Anchovy Museum, described through the words of its custodian and creator, Michelangelo Balistreri. Finally, the crew captured the natural wonders of the coast, stopping at the evocative Arco Azzurro, a symbol of the coastline, and the nearby, picturesque village of Sant’Elia.
