On the occasion of the feast of Bagheria’s patron saint, San Giuseppe, on Thursday, March 19, 2025, the Bagheria Municipal Administration has prepared a series of measures for the holiday.
Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli, with a special mayoral ordinance, which is being published online, has ordered the closure of schools: All schools of all levels within the municipality will remain closed for the entire day; municipal public offices will be closed, with the guarantee of essential services; commercial activities will be closed, with the exception of: Florists and bakers, who will close for half the day; and bars, pastry shops, restaurants, pizzerias, and other food service businesses, which will remain open the entire day. The municipal cemetery will remain open, with its usual Sunday hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Municipal Administration wishes all citizens a Happy Saint Joseph’s Day.
