On Sunday, 31 August, Aspra will host the “Aspra Sunset” event, part of the “Participatory Democracy” project, an initiative that promotes the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the area. The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a photography exhibition by Domenico Balistreri. Afterwards, participants will be able to take part in a coastal tour aboard ancient Latin prows, organised by the ‘Comunità Marinara di Aspra’ association. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the frescoes by Renato Guttuso.
The evening will end at 8:00 pm with a tasting of typical local products, accompanied by a selection of jazz music. An opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditions and excellence of Aspra in a unique atmosphere. At the end of the tour, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a free guided tour of the Museum of Anchovies and Maritime Arts in Aspra entitled ‘𝑼 𝒄𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒖 𝒓𝒊 𝒍’ 𝑨𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒐𝒗𝒂’, curated by Michelangelo Balistreri
The event, organised by the cultural association “Passio Christi”, will take place at the Terrazza a Mare (formerly Piazza Colonia).
