There’s a love that makes no noise, yet changes the lives of those at risk of being left on the margins. The “Mary Abate” fund was born in memory of a social worker who chose to stand by the most vulnerable people every day. The Valentine’s Day concert “7 notes for a smile – Lucina d’amore,” on February 14th at Villa Ramacca (Bagheria), aims to support precisely this: social and employment inclusion projects that open new paths.
Conducted by Maestro Salvatore De Giorgi, with the voice of Lucina Lanzara, the Sant’Ignazio di Loyola Choir, Mariangela Lampasona on the violin, and Serena De Giorgi on the piano, we will sing the most beautiful love songs of the last 50 years, in an elegant evening with a gala dinner. Just a few titles: Se telefonando, Arrivederci amore ciao, la cura. It will be a powerful, elegant, unique evening, dedicated to love, even through a concrete gesture.
