On Saturday, November 14, 2026, the city will host an event combining culture, motorcycling, and solidarity, organized by the CC Motorday Motorcycle Club – Palermo Chapter (APPALERMO), under the patronage of the Municipality of Bagheria and in collaboration with the Bagheria Multiservice Company (AMB). The event aims to raise funds through voluntary contributions, which will be donated in their entirety to the Bagheria Solidarity Reuse Center (Centro di Riuso Solidale) for the purchase of two benches.
Participants will gather at 9:30 AM at the Eni Bonagia service station (heading toward Catania), with the ride scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. Upon arrival in Bagheria at 10:30 AM, a cultural tour will take place, featuring guided visits to Villa Butera and the Toy Museum. Afterward, at the Reuse Center, participants will be treated to an *aperipranzo* (a combination of an aperitif and lunch) provided by the sponsor, Bar Pasticceria Gelateria Carmelo. The day will conclude with a visit to the historical museum maintained by the Bagheria branch of the National Carabinieri Association (Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri). CC Motorday was founded in May 2006 by members of the Carabinieri Corps and motorcycle enthusiasts; it has since grown into a national motorcycle club rooted in values ​​of brotherhood and social commitment. The Palermo Chapter brings together serving and retired Carabinieri, as well as supporters, and regularly organizes rallies and charity events focused on addressing social needs and vulnerabilities within the Sicilian region.
