The event will be held on 4 May, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Villa Butera (Torre side) in Bagheria.
The day will feature a parade dedicated to mestizos, an opportunity to celebrate the beauty and uniqueness of these wonderful animals. Owners are invited to register their mestizos by contacting the WhatsApp number: 331.2697230.
In addition, during the event, it will be possible to microchip their four-legged friends free of charge, a service that is essential for their safety and to help find them if they get lost.

“The Municipal Administration is proud to promote initiatives such as ‘A Meticcio per Amico’, which focus on respect and love for animals. Mestizos are extraordinary animals, often full of gratitude and affection, who deserve to find a loving family – says the Councilor for Animal Rights, Giuseppe Tripoli – This day represents an opportunity to raise awareness among citizens on the importance of responsible adoption and to offer a useful service such as free microchipping. I thank all the associations and partners who made this event possible and I invite citizens to participate in large numbers.”

In addition to Councilor Tripoli, the mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli, members of the council, the Guarantor of Animal Rights of the Sicily Region Giovanni Giacobbe, the Director FFOC IUEL Randagismo Antonino Pecoraino and representatives of the voluntary associations will be present.
The Municipality of Bagheria invites all animal lovers to participate in this day of celebration and solidarity.
