The Municipality of Bagheria at the 9th edition

of the Extra-Hotel Tourism Exchange (BTE)

for the promotion of the area

From November 15 and 16, 2025

The Municipality of Bagheria confirms its participation with its own exhibition space at the 9th edition of the Borsa del Turismo Extralberghiero (B.T.E.), scheduled for November 15 and 16, 2025, at the Palermo Cruise Terminal.
The Borsa del Turismo Extralberghiero, organized by Confesercenti Sicilia, represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the promotion of Sicilian non-hotel hospitality and respond to the growing interest of tourism demand, particularly international, in hospitality solutions complementary to traditional hotels, and in sustainable, responsible, and relational tourism.
The participation of the Municipality of Bagheria is consistent with its institutional objectives of tourism promotion and protection and conservation of its historical, architectural, natural, and landscape heritage. The goal is to enhance the region by disseminating knowledge of its artistic heritage, traditions, culture, and local gastronomy, improving the quality of tourism offerings and encouraging tourism in the area.
The event will involve 20 national and international buyers interested in establishing business relationships with operators of complementary accommodation facilities, thus promoting the Sicily Region’s tourism offerings in their target markets. The event will feature B2B meetings, in-depth discussions, and professional networking opportunities, with the aim of supporting the sector’s competitiveness and promoting the region’s experiential offerings.
Participation with a dedicated exhibition space, as in previous years, is considered worthy as it represents an opportunity to enhance and promote the entire region. The objectives are to promote Bagheria’s image as a cultural and experiential tourism destination on international markets, strengthen relationships with other communities, and encourage return tourism. Promote Sicily’s historical and artistic traditions and raise awareness of the importance of sustainable and inclusive tourism.
Accommodation facilities participating in the B2B meetings through the Municipality of Bagheria will receive a discounted rate of 50% of the standard rate (€50.00) per participant.
The director of Directorate VII, which includes the Tourism Office, Angelo Guerrera, has been instructed to take care of the necessary procedures for participation in the event.

“We are convinced that enhancing our cultural heritage is a fundamental lever for the development of tourism in the area, and we will continue to work in this direction, promoting innovative initiatives and synergies with other local entities,” says Tourism Councilor Francesco Gurrado. “We will continue to work hard to improve our position in the tourism market and to ensure that more and more people discover the beauty of our city.”
