The fourteenth edition of the regional cultural initiative, conceived by Piera Maria Carbone, will take place in Bagheria, at the Branciforti Theater Hall of Palazzo Butera, on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. The event will focus on the role of the Branciforti family in the history of Bagheria, which, thanks to the power of the most important family in the Kingdom of Sicily, participated in the political and cultural dynamics of modern Europe. The event was co-organized with the Municipality of Bagheria, which also provided free patronage. The following will offer greetings: Mayor Filippo Maria Tripoli, Councilor for Culture Daniele Vella, Councilor for Public Education Antonelle Insinga, and the Honorable Valentina Chinnici. Students and teachers from Bagheria’s secondary schools will participate. Speakers will include historian Antonino Morreale, project creator Piera Maria Carbone, city councilor Antonello Gargano, responsible for promoting the history of our region, historical painter Caterina Guttuso, and artist Benedetto Norcia. Moderator will be Angelo Guerrera, director of the VII Directorate of the Municipality of Bagheria.
