The exhibition “I Barcollo ma non MOLLO!® Girls” arrives at Villa Butera:
a hymn to resilience and female solidarity
Saturday, February 21, 2026
The fourth leg of the traveling project “Io Barcollo ma non MOLLO!® Girls” arrives at Villa Butera, an initiative promoted and managed by Antonella Insinga, Councilor for Sport and Entertainment.
The photography exhibition, celebrating the strength of 40 women who have transformed life’s fragility into courage, will open on Saturday, February 21st at 5:00 PM. Born from the will of Roberta Sparacello, founder of the blog and the eponymous association, the community brings together women who, despite adversity, have chosen not to give up. Through the shots of photographers Caterina Compagnone and Chiara Gallina, the exhibition tells stories of personality and wonder, offering concrete support to those experiencing difficult times. The project aims to give voice to a sincere sisterhood and remind every woman that her fragility is not a limitation, but a foundation from which to start again with pride. The exhibition, sponsored by the municipality of Bagheria, will be open to the public free of charge until Sunday 8 March, International Women’s Day, from Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm and on Wednesdays also in the afternoon (3:30 pm – 6:30 pm).
