“Te Joseph Celebrent”: The 2nd Choral Festival in honor of Saint Joseph in Bagheria.

The Mother Church of Bagheria will host the 90th concert of the Concert Season,

a major choral event dedicated to the Patron Saint

As part of the 10th Concert Season of the City of Bagheria, on Monday, March 16, 2026, at 7:30 PM, the Mother Church (Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary) will host “Te Joseph Celebrent” the 2nd Choral Festival dedicated to the celebrations in honor of the patron saint, Saint Joseph. The event, which marks the prestigious milestone of the 90th concert of the season, is organized by the Bequadro Cultural Association of the Laudate Dominum Choir, with the patronage of the Sicilian Region, the ARS (Regional Association of Sicilian Religious Associations), the Municipality of Bagheria, FEDERCORI, and Chorus Inside Sicilia. Maestro Salvatore Di Blasi will be the artistic director, while the parish priest of the Mother Church, Don Alerio Montalbano, will be in charge of the reception. The festival will feature five prominent Sicilian choral groups, who will perform a high-profile sacred program:

– Annamaria Pitarresi Alaimo APS Choir (Villabate), conducted by Vincenzo Alaimo;
– Stesicoro Choir (Termini Imerese), conducted by Loredana Russo;
– Virgini Perdolenti Polyphonic Choir (Sant’Elia), conducted by Santo Tarantino;
– Fidelis ANC Choir (Palermo), conducted by Domenico Guzzardo;
– Laudate Dominum Lyric Choir (Bagheria), conducted by Salvatore Di Blasi.

The initiative aims not only to be a moment of high artistic and musical expression, but also an act of communal devotion to Saint Joseph, uniting various choral groups in a single homage to the tradition and faith of the city of Bagheria.
