La Punta Sunday, November 12, 2023 “SpettacolCarretto” twinning art between the schools of the Sicilian Cart Aci S.Antonio – CT and Bagheria – PA, programmed and organized by the Cultural Association Carretto Arte Sicilia aps in collaboration with the Cultural Association Giuseppe Bagnera aps, the event sponsored by the Regional Department of Sport Tourism and Entertainment, is preparatory to the achievement of the UNESCO World Heritage of the work of art of the Sicilian Cart…
– From 10 a.m. Exhibition of carts and works of art;
– In the afternoon at 16.00 exhibition of the masters of the Sicilian stick and folk music;
– At 4.30 p.m., Twinning ceremony and award of plaques.
We thank all those who in various ways, for the realization of the Event that wants to represent in its essence the Folklore and Sicilian Culture, honoring the Historical Memory and exalting the creativity of the Artists who today continue the art of the Cart with talent and tenacity, feeding the hope of a prosperous future made of deep and consolidated roots, Domenico Puglisi president of the Ass Carretto ArteSicilia Angelo Restivo president of the Cultural Association “Giuseppe Bagnera”.
