Solo exhibition in Bagheria: a tribute to Salvatore Perez

Open from December 1 to 15, 2025

The city of Bagheria is preparing to pay tribute to Salvatore Perez, a figure well-known to the community as a firefighter and former Aspra district councilor, with an exhibition dedicated to him. This exhibition celebrates his artistic talent and humanity, a project strongly supported by his family and embraced by the city administration.
The exhibition, which will be held in the Fumagalli-Martorana Hall of Villa Butera, will open on December 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
The event will feature institutional figures and guests and will open with official greetings from the Mayor of Bagheria, Filippo Maria Tripoli, and Prime Minister Andrea Sciortino. Also in attendance will be Antonella Elisa Insinga, Councilor for Public Education, and Anna Maria Mineo, wife of Salvatore Perez. A particularly highlight will be the performance by actor Gaetano Balistreri, who will recite some poems in tribute to the artist.
The exhibition will not only be a cultural event, but also a moment of solidarity. As part of the event, a donation stand will be set up for Caritas, through the sale of some of Salvatore Perez’s lithographs. The event is an invitation to discover Salvatore Perez’s art and participate in an initiative that unites culture and charity in the Bagheria community. The exhibition will be open until December 15, 2025.
