In view of BTE new meeting at villa Butera

Monday, October 30 at 3:30 p.m.

A first meeting took place on Monday 23 October in view of the BTE, the non-hotel tourism exchange which will be held at the Cruise terminal in Palermo on 10, 11 and 12 November. As always, buyers from all over the world will participate and, with a specific visit, will stop in Bagheria on 9 November 2023.
EXPOBTE is an exhibition space designed to foster synergies and new commercial relationships between the non-hotel system, the companies providing offers dedicated to the alternative sector to the hotel industry and all the components that feed the formula of experiential, naturalistic, sustainable and creative tourism.
Present at the meeting were the councilor Provvidenza Tripoli, the provincial manager of Confesercenti, the regional coordinator of Assoturismo Salvo Basile and Marco Mineo, president of AssoHotel Palermo, as well as several owners and managers of B&Bs and facilities for the administration of food and drinks and the representatives of the two city Proloco, the president Sabrina Gianforte for Bagheria and the vice president Gerardo Lorenzini for Aspra.
Basile presented the BTE, and explained the promotion and advertising opportunities it offers for the Island and for tourism operators, considering that buyers from Poland, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic and other nations who want to make contact with the accommodation facilities present in Sicily to offer them in their tours.
However, the BTE is much more, explains Basile: <<From the first edition to today, over 1000 Sicilian non-hotel companies have presented their accommodation offer to foreign markets; Over 150 international buyers from many countries including France, Germany, Spain, England, Denmark, China and Israel were involved. Furthermore, at the BTE it is possible to discover the proposals of suppliers of products and services aimed at managers of widespread hospitality, to network and create partnerships with the promoters of experiential content in the area including tourism, art, culture, tastings and even take advantage of sessions information, round tables and networking to expand your network of contacts and acquire new knowledge useful for consolidating your business and much more>>.
Entrance to the BTE is free, and we are trying to organize an exhibition stand dedicated to Bagheria, the City of Villas and Taste. This too will be the topic of the new meeting scheduled to be held on Monday 30 October, at 3.30 pm at Villa Butera, in the Borremans room where, once again, owners of B&Bs and tourist apartments, restaurateurs, bar owners, pub managers of services aimed at tourists such as sanitisation, digital products, aspects related to the supply of products for breakfast, experiential content, furnishings, and tour operators.
The operators of Bagheria will be able to meet the buyers in Palermo, in the 100 meters q. of exhibition spaces in the cruise terminal, from 10 to 12 to present your accommodation offer in the main international markets for the growth of your company.
During the meeting, the Tripoli councilor once again reiterated the desire of the municipal administration to act as facilitators for the creation of a public-private network for the growth of tourism in Bagheria, he once again offered the digital space on bagheriaexperience to those who want to promote their business, free of charge, and accepted the proposal from those present to organize a meeting with all the trade associations.
There were several interventions from those present on what can be done synergistically in the field: from the single ticket, to the tourist tax, from the visit to the villas set up in the system, to the POA, the annual operational plan in the tourism sector, to the activities of the hosts, the short rentals.
Conscia che ancora tante sono le attività da compiere e le problematiche da sanare, l’assessore Tripoli sottolinea che l’amministrazione comunale auspica una grande partecipazione dei soggetti che vogliano contribuire a far crescere il brand “Bagheria Città delle ville e del gusto” al fine di creare un indotto che ritorni sul territorio.
