As part of the theatre and performing arts festival ‘Contemporaneo Itinerante’, the last two events in the trilogy scheduled for 26 and 30 August 2025 will be held at Villa Butera.
The performances, all free of charge and open to the public, subject to availability, will begin at 9 p.m. On Tuesday 26 August, “LA LOCANDIERA Esprit de Pomme de Terre” will be staged, a special rewriting of Carlo Goldoni’s “La Locandiera”, curated and directed by Andrea Saitta. The show is a co-production of the “Compagnia dell’Arpa” and the “Compagnia Allunaggio/Décalé”. On Saturday 30 August, the festival will conclude with “Arte_mi_Sia”, an investigation into beauty and obscenity, directed by Santi Cicardo. The show is produced by the “Compagnia OTQA” and “Casa Teatro”. The initiative offers the public a rich and stimulating cultural experience, promoting theatre enjoyment and offering moments of reflection and entertainment.
‘Contemporaneo Itinerante’ is a project that aims to bring art and culture to different contexts, making it accessible to all. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture, with the patronage of the municipality of Palermo and the Metropolitan City of Palermo, and in collaboration with the municipality of Bagheria.
