BIT 2025 ‘International Tourism Exchange’:
Bagheria participates in a panel to promote local tourism

The Municipality of Bagheria will have its own moment during a panel at the next edition of BIT, the International Tourism Exchange, to be held at fieramilano (Rho) from 9 to 11 February 2025 .
The event, organised by Fiera Milano, is a crucial appointment for operators in the tourism sector, a true observatory on the most innovative trends and a unique opportunity to share knowledge and strategies.
The deputy mayor, Daniele Vella, will actively participate in a specific panel, bringing the voice of Bagheria and illustrating the peculiarities of the territory and in particular will promote the Guttuso museum and the single ticket set up between the museum and Palazzo Steri (seat of the university rectorship) where Renato Guttuso’s ‘La Vucciria’ is exhibited.
The BIT confirms itself as an essential moment of knowledge sharing both in the exhibition area and in the rich programme of meetings and insights. Central themes of the 2025 edition will be regenerative tourism, the centrality of events, the impact of digitalisation and the new frontiers of experiential tourism.
Deputy Mayor Vella, who will be accompanied by Tourism Councillor Francesco Gurrado, will take part in the panel at the conference, organised as part of ‘The best westerns of Sicily’ at 2.00 pm. 30, on Monday 10 February, organised by CoopCulture on the theme ‘Destination Palermo’. Speakers will include Roberto Lagalla, mayor of Palermo, Alessandro Albanese, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo, Alessandro Anello, tourism councillor of the municipality of Palermo, Letizia Casuccio, general manager of CoopCulture, Michelangelo Gruttadauria, Simua Unipa, Fabrizio Lo Verso, tourism councillor of the municipality of Monreale, Roberto Magnisi, director of Cantine Duca di Salaparuta and Daniele Vella, deputy mayor of the municipality of Bagheria.

We are already working with the district to participate next year with a larger presence and an exhibition space.’
