Who can be interested in the search for meaning in an age such as the one we are living in? Who can be interested in the search for meaning in being a teacher? These are the questions posed by the author of this volume, who instead, as a teacher and trainer, believes that these issues should be of interest to all people who inhabit and gravitate around the wonderful world of schools and training. Reflecting is <<returning to think over” an experience, “conversing with a situation,” but I like to understand reflection also as the ability to look at oneself in a mirror constituted from time to time by pupils, trainees, colleagues,” the author writes in the back cover, “and catch all those reflections that the mirror sends back in order to become increasingly valid and aware persons and professionals>>.
