and opens with the exhibition “Freestyle art fusion in Butera Palace”
Thursday, August 08, 2024
Tonight, Villa Butera turns into a musical time machine. The Gate 4, accompanied by the talented Edmondo Teodolindo Negri, invite us to take a dip into the past with the show “100 Liras on Vinyl”.
Sponsored by the City of Bagheria, the show is a nostalgic journey that evokes the atmosphere of juke boxes, when music united people without distinction. A project born in 2019, Negri’s idea that wants us to relive the thrill of choosing our own song and contribute to the growth of artists.
On stage, in addition to Gate 4 Rary Milani, Davide Fanni, Thamara Scarpace and Mirko Ciulla, we find an exceptional orchestra: Edmondo Teodolindo Negri on guitar and piano, Giovanni Messina on bass, Emanuele Rinella on drums and Salvo Compagno on percussion.
“100 Lira on Vinyl” is not just a show, but an invitation to reflect on the unifying power of music and the beauty of those simple moments when we were all united by a passion for a song.
A collaboration between Open Space, Music Village Production, WI_FI Net and Tecknopower, this initiative promises to get people dancing and singing under the stars.
Tonight’s date, is at 9:30 p.m., at Villa Butera. Admission is free.
“In the style of Gate 4 emerges the simplicity of uniting two distant worlds” – say the artists – “the old and the new”. A combination in which particular melodies and sounds, find adequate space in their performances, full of pleasant creative surprises and with their own peculiarity: to cancel the distance between the stage and the audience because everything becomes “the moment”!
In the context of the event there is also an exhibition of paintings by independent artists, called “FREESTYLE ART FUSION IN PALAZZO BUTERA” exhibition represented by the same association in collaboration with OPEN SPACE MAGAZINE.
The exhibition kicks off today, Aug. 8, at 8:30 p.m., with an opening and presentation of the artists taking part, and will be open until Aug. 18 at the central hall of Villa Butera, with the following hours: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
