The Municipality of Bagheria will host a highly anticipated sporting event: “Bagheria in Corsa,” a go-kart race valid for the 6th ACI National City Circuits Trophy and the 1st Andrea Santa Lucia Memorial. The event, organized by the amateur sports association PKS Italia Motorsport, with the support of the A.S.D. Rambo Racing Team and the patronage of the Municipality of Bagheria, will liven up the city streets on Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th, 2025.
The event, part of the ACI National City Circuits Trophy, will attract drivers and teams from all over Italy to Bagheria. Approximately 100 drivers, accompanied by mechanics and team managers, are expected to participate, for a total of approximately 900 people, offering a significant opportunity to promote tourism and the area.
The route, approximately 700 meters long, will wind through the city streets and in particular along Via D. D’Amico, Via De Spuches (corner of Via D. D’Amico), Via F. De Maria (corner of Via G.A. Cesareo), Via G.A. Cesareo, Via Roma (corner of Via D. D’Amico, Via G.A. Cesareo), Via Mario Rapisardi, Via Ruggero Settimo, and Via Giovanni Verga.
The event has a “very low” risk level and has been organized with safety measures in compliance with regulations. The entire route will be cordoned off, and spectator areas will not be marked or fenced off, but restricted areas will be marked. Organizing staff, recognizable by their uniforms, will be present to ensure safety. During the race, traffic will be modified with parking restrictions and traffic closures on the affected streets starting from 2:00 PM on October 3, 2025, until midnight on October 5, 2025.
A medical service will also be provided for the duration of the event, with a resuscitation ambulance and a transport ambulance, under the supervision of a physician.
Therefore, residents will be able to participate in a weekend of sport and fun that will enhance our city as a tourist and sports attraction.
