It is interpreted by the Petricòre theater company the comedy: “A famigghia prima di tutto” a piecé play directed by Pietro Buttitta that goes on stage tonight at the Excelsior cinema in Bagheria already staged on Aug. 2 and will be staged again on Aug. 9, 2024. The play in three acts, with lively and ironic tones, at times autobiographical, takes place in a small town in the province of Palermo in the early 2000s. In this reality unfolds the vicissitudes of the Lomunno family, which at one point encounters an uncomfortable circumstance.
The show, which enjoys the patronage of the municipality of Bagheria, will begin, this evening, at 9 p.m.
The Petricòre dialect theater company is a relatively new reality: in business since 2022 strongly desired by artistic director Pietro Buttitta, who at a certain point in his career felt the need to bring his dream to life.
Petricòre, the name of the company is part of Pietro’s dream. Petricòre is the smell that is released into the air by the beating of the rain on the dry earth; a smell that, like stimulates, inspires Pietro but is also an aphorism, a definition, that summarizes how Pietro put his heart into his creature.
